After almost a year in pilot, the Minnesota GreenStar Certified Green Homes and Remodeling program is ready for public use. Achieving certification requires a well-rounded approach to Green design and construction. Builders and remodelers participating in the Minnesota GreenStar program are required to achieve minimum thresholds in areas such as energy and materials efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality, and site and community. The 8-hour training will highlight information about Green building strategies, the process toward certification through this program and prepare participants to meet these minimums and achieve certification. This training fulfills the education requirement for usage of MN GreenStar. Only one representative per company will be allowed to register.
